to the SJSU Department of Mathematics web site.
Here, students and the rest of the campus community will find
useful information about our programs, courses,
research, colloquia and other activities. Our
undergraduate and graduate programs prepare students to pursue
continuing graduate study, to work in industry and to teach in
secondary schools or community colleges. We strive
to teach our students to communicate mathematical ideas
effectively and to use the basic computational skills,
mathematical models and technology to solve practical problems.

Rare and Endangered Courses for Fall 2009
These classes are not offered every semester. So if
you are interested in taking them, register now. Classes with low enrollment will be cancelled. Some
classes may be cancelled before the first day of instruction.
