San Francisco Bay Area Professional Development and Outreach Group

Welcome-About Us

Welcome to the San Francisco Bay Area PDO Group.

We are a group of teachers from a variety of schools, including public, private and charter schools, who work together for professional development with funding from the Park City Mathematics Institute. We are developing a network of teachers dedicated to continuing our own professional development, linking with other professional development activities in the San Francisco Bay Area, and expanding our networking activities within the group. Eventually we would like to embark on some group publishing and curriculum development activities that will foster dissemination in professional journals and conference presentations.

San Jose State University is the official sponsor for the SF Bay Area PDO under the leadership of Drs Joanne Rossi Becker and Richard Pfiefer. Rani Fischer and Kyle Barriger share the teacher leadership of the PDO.
