My final grade and my expected grade

You can use the tables below as follows:
  1. If you know your scores on your homework, midterms, and final, enter them in the first table below to see what your final score is as well as your grade in the class.
  2. The second table will give you your EXPECTED FINAL EXAM SCORE and your EXPECTED GRADE, purely statistically based on your performance on the homework and midterms.

    This calculation is based on the assumption that your performance on the final will be the AVERAGE of your performance on the midterms!

    One reason this information is provided is that you will be asked to enter your expected grade on your SOTES (Student Opinion of Teaching Effectiveness Evaluations).

    Of course, per class policy, your score on the final will supersede and replace any lower scores on any of the midterm and, in particular, an A on the final is an automatic A in the class, regardless of your midterm scores.
